'Tis the Season continuted....

More houses to view...

From a traditional white southern style estate with a gorgeous garden to a simple city house...

The gray house is in University City and reminds me a lot of my Dad's parents' home on Amherst.

The house with the orange roof is located in Glendale and this is truly one of my favorite paintings. I always hope to see great shadows because the contrasting abstract shapes are the design elements that give interest. Of course Hopper is one of my favorite painters.

The big brick house with the arched doorway is located somewhere in north St. Louis county. It was a gift to the parents given by a bunch of siblings.

Now, the English style home is really amazing. There's quite a story behind this unique St. Louis neighborhood. Apparently an English architect came years ago and just made an entire street of these homes, with stone walls and all. Talk about details!
